Merit based scholarship policy

1. OBJECTIVE

Scholarship is a boon for students, belonging to the weaker sections of the society, who are unable to pay fee for some reason or the other. Scholarship is an incentive as well as encouragement for students, who are talented, but do not have the means to study further. We are going to start a merit based scholarship for our students, which provide scholarships for study in classes 1 to 10th.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The following students are eligible for consideration of award of scholarship.

• Who are above 90 % Percentile (Classes I to V) and above 80% Percentile (Classes VI to IX) in their previous final Examination.
• Having parental income of less than Rs.1.5 lakh per annum
• Having good scholastic as well as co-scholastic record.
• Not availing of any other scholarship scheme

Eligible candidate will get 100% reduction in his/her school fee. They have to pay only Exam fee, term fee and Activity fee.

• They have to pay full transport fee.

CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP:

• Scholarship will be available to the students of C.K.G High School studying in Classes I to X.
• The award will be discontinued if a student fails to secure 90% marks in the annual examination except in case of unavoidable reasons to be certified by the Principal/competent authority of the school and recommended.
• Scholarship will not be given to more than two students from a family.
• Income Certificate; Income certificate from the employer for employed parents/guardian or Certificate to be issued by the Competent Authority.
• If a student violates school discipline or any other terms and conditions of the scholarship, scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.
• If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid will be recovered.
• The management has the right to cancel the scholarship of any student without any prior intimation.

RENEWAL OF SCHOLARSHIP:

The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured more than 90% mark( classes I to V) and 80% mark (classes VI to IX).
