Co- Curricular Activities

The holistic growth as well as to develop the various facets of personality development of children; classroom teaching should be supplemented with co-curricular activities. These out of class activities affect all domains of life such as cognitive (intellectual), emotional, social, moral, cultural and aesthetic.

In co-curricular activities, our students participate in various cultural programmes, which help them in socialization, self-identification and self-assessment.

The school has introduced the Defence Training Program with the help of Atulya Veer Charitable Trust for classes VI to X from the academic session 2022-23. It is a body runs by some Ex-NCC cadets and Social Activist Trainer run by its own. They work on the Ideology of “Every student a Soldier”. The training program is scheduled every Wednesday for 2 hours.

Karate, (Japanese: “empty hand”) unarmed martial arts is a co- curricular activity in our school for all students. Learning and training in Karate at our school helps the child not only to be able to defend him/her self but also prepare the child to face the future with confidence. Martial Arts training will make them strong but at the same time they learn the etiquette and manners of Martial arts like should be good at heart and should help one another and create a good environment, learn to be polite and respect their parents, teachers, elders and fellow students.

Every year the children are giving exams and getting belts. Children are also taking part in different tournament at state and National level.

The school is running regular Dance classes for grade 1st to 8th. Different dance programme held during the year. Dance competition is also planned for grade 1 to 5 in annual calendar. In different event children are performing dance programme like Independence day, Janmastami, Republic Day, Teacher’s Day, Children’s Day, Annual day Function etc.

On this day, the goddess of knowledge, wisdom and art, Saraswati, is worshipped. Kamadeva and Vasant (the personification of spring) are also honoured on this festival.

Our school also celebrate vasant panchami with great enthusiasm. Children pray to goddess of knowledge Maa Saraswati. After that community lunch is served for all school children.

We are very happy to announce that we have started Scout and Guide activities in our school from the session 2019-20. We appreciate the Hindustan Scout and Guide (Gujarat) Association for giving an opportunity to our children to be a part of this association. We hope that children will show mentally, physically and spiritually development to become a perfect human being.

After completing 3 days camp (in school campus only), children have completed PRAVESHIKA course.
